Eggless pineapple cake

In this section, we will learn about how to make a special pineapple cake as in this pineapple cake recipe we don’t add eggs.

This recipe is a yeast-based cake that is made with pineapple essence. This delicious dessert can be served as a snack or as a side dish after dinner.

Watch this video and learn how to make eggless pineapple cake as I am preparing this cake with explanations of cake in both Hindi and English.

For cake sponge:

  • 1 1/2 cup refined flour
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup refined oil (melted butter can be used)
  • 1/2 cup curd – 3/4th cup milk
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp pineapple essence

Instructions:

Sponge Cake

Step 1: Make a batter of cake with 1 cup of powdered sugar, ½ cup of refined oil, ¾ cup of milk

Step 2: Beat it for few seconds, don’t lose the thickness of the batter

Step 3: Take a juice strainer and add refined flour, baking powder and baking soda

Step 4: Add vanilla essence to the batter

Step 5: Beat the batter continuously until it is thicker as seen in the video

Step 6: Bake the batter in preheated oven at 180°C/355°F for 35 minutes and check the cake is cooked by using a toothpick to see if it is sticky

Step 7: Finally, take it out of oven and decorate your cake with icing
