Thepla is a flatbread that is commonly prepared as a breakfast meal. It is made out of wheat flour and has a thin layer of dough that can be very thin or thick.

Methi paratha is one of the most popular Indian flatbreads. It combines the flavors of cumin, garlic, and ginger which are essential spices in Indian cuisine.


  • 1 cup chopped fresh methi leaves
  • 1 cup wholewheat atta
  • 1/4th cup besan
  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1/4th tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/4th black pepper powder
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/4th tsp garam masala
  • 2 tsp curd
  • 1 tbs ghee
  • 1 tsp salt


Step 1: Start by adding methi leaves to hot oil for about 10-15 seconds or until it becomes crispy. You can also add some chili powder to get the desired flavor and taste before this step.

Step 2: Add cooked lentils and salt to this next and fry for about 3-4 minutes more on medium heat. Add water after this if it’s dry already but remember
